LegalBridge Content Disclaimer and Publication Policy

Effective Date: November 5, 2025

I. POLICY STATEMENT AND SCOPE

This Policy governs all content published by LegalBridge on legalbridge.ai, including blog posts, articles, guides, newsletters, whitepapers, and social media content referencing published materials (collectively, "Content"). This Policy applies to all employees, contractors, guest contributors, and third parties creating Content on behalf of LegalBridge.

Purpose: To establish safeguards against potential liability arising from Content publication while maintaining educational value and market positioning, specifically addressing risks of:

  • Unauthorized practice of law claims

  • Professional malpractice or negligence allegations

  • Misrepresentation and consumer protection violations

  • Intellectual property infringement

  • Defamation and privacy violations

  • Regulatory non-compliance

II. FOUNDATIONAL LEGAL DISCLAIMERS

A. No Attorney-Client Relationship

All Content is strictly educational and informational. Publication, distribution, or consumption of Content does NOT:

  1. Create an attorney-client relationship between any reader and LegalBridge, its employees, contributors, or affiliated law firms

  2. Create any fiduciary duty, professional obligation, or confidential relationship

  3. Constitute a solicitation for legal services in any jurisdiction

  4. Trigger any statute of limitations, deadline preservation, or tolling

  5. Establish standing, representation, or appearance before any court or administrative body

B. Not Legal Advice

Content provides general information about immigration law, procedures, and case management. It does NOT:

  1. Constitute legal advice, legal opinion, or legal analysis specific to any reader's circumstances

  2. Replace consultation with qualified, licensed immigration counsel

  3. Address the particular facts, jurisdiction, or procedural posture of any specific case

  4. Account for recent regulatory changes, unpublished decisions, or jurisdiction-specific variations

  5. Consider individual eligibility factors, inadmissibility grounds, or discretionary elements

Rationale: Immigration law requires fact-intensive analysis. Generalized content cannot address the myriad variables affecting individual cases, including criminal history, prior immigration violations, country conditions, agency discretion, and evolving regulatory interpretations.

C. No Warranties or Guarantees

LegalBridge makes NO warranties, express or implied, regarding Content, including:

  1. Accuracy Warranty: No guarantee that information is current, complete, or error-free

  2. Outcome Warranty: No guarantee regarding visa approvals, processing times, or case results

  3. Merchantability or Fitness: No warranty for particular purpose or commercial viability

  4. Non-Infringement: While we conduct reasonable diligence, we cannot warrant against all potential IP conflicts

  5. Timeliness: Immigration law changes continuously; Content may become outdated immediately upon publication

Legal Basis: Standard limitation under common law and Uniform Commercial Code principles, adapted for informational services.

III. COMPREHENSIVE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

A. Scope of Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, LegalBridge, its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, contributors, and affiliated entities (collectively, "Released Parties") shall NOT be liable for any:

  1. Direct Damages: Including but not limited to filing fees, application costs, attorney fees incurred elsewhere, or travel expenses

  2. Consequential Damages: Including visa denials, deportation proceedings, missed employment opportunities, family separation, or business losses

  3. Incidental Damages: Including costs of substitute services or remedial actions

  4. Special Damages: Including reputational harm or emotional distress

  5. Punitive Damages: Under any theory of liability

This limitation applies regardless of legal theory (negligence, strict liability, breach of warranty, misrepresentation, or otherwise) and regardless of whether Released Parties were advised of damage possibility.

B. Exceptions

This limitation does NOT apply where prohibited by law, including:

  • Gross negligence or willful misconduct

  • Fraud or intentional misrepresentation

  • Violations of consumer protection statutes with statutory damages provisions

  • Jurisdictions prohibiting liability limitation for certain claims

C. Damages Cap

Where limitation of liability is unenforceable, Released Parties' maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

Legal Justification: Standard exculpatory clause appropriate for free informational content. Courts generally enforce such limitations absent fraud, gross negligence, or public policy violations.
